It is part of the New Lenox Community Park District's collection of 40 park and community recreation locations. This park, which opened to the public in 2021, is adjacent to the Lincolnway Special Recreation Center (LWSRC) at 1900 Heather Glen Drive. Thanks to a state OSLAD grant, matching funds from the New Lenox Community Park District, and fundraising efforts from LWSRA, the dream of a universal design (accessible) playground has been realized. The park offers outdoor amenities for rent through the New Lenox Community Park District. For indoor facility rentals at the Recreation Center, visitors can contact LWSRA. The LWSRA office is open during specific times, and the Recreation Center is open when programs, events, or rentals are scheduled. Registration may not be available after hours.
