East Park Church of Christ
Welcome to East Park Church of Christ, a vibrant community of faith located at 1224 East Voorhees Street, Danville, Illinois. As part of the Restoration Movement, we strive to emulate the worship practices of the First Century church, as established on the day of Pentecost. Our services are characterized by heartfelt A cappella singing, following the New Testament example of praising the Lord without instrumental accompaniment (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). During our gatherings, you will experience a series of prayers led by men of the congregation, focusing on specific needs and requests (Philippians 4:6). Each Sunday, we partake in the Lord’s Supper, a sacred memorial of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, in obedience to His command (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-29).
