Mack Risk Management

"Steve Mack is an impossible guy to work with. I have had Erie Insurance for 10 years for by business. Some how he ended up with my policy from a different agency which I believe the owner retired approx 3 years ago but I am not really sure. The agent of the old firm, I worked with all along, transferred to his “agency” as well. They had an almost immediate falling out with in 3-6 months due to how he treats clients. And at that time he stopped managing my 5 policies pretty much completely. Doesn't answer any questions without multiple callings and emails. Then I find out things still haven't been written to the proper policy. I finally said I have had enough and he did everything he can to make it next to impossible to remove my policies from his agency. With Erie the agent has to release your policies for them to be able to be moved to anyone else. Flat out wouldn't do it, even though he got the policy through the same procedure with out my consent. Tried to have other Erie agents call him to get the policy. He says for them to do it. Knowing they couldn't. I personally went through the hoops to get a loss history from Erie so I can get insurance from someone who cares, other than collecting a commission check. I asked them to email it to me. They sent it to him and he had it for 5 days with out even telling me about it. I had to call Erie wait on hold for 45 minutes to find out where the report was. Turns out that they will only send it to the agent. They then call him. Tell him he needs to do what he is required to do to be an Erie agent. He says he is going emailing it over right now. He claims that they said they sent me a copy. This is not what Erie said. I have never written a negative review before because I myself own a business. But the headache he caused for me, for absolutely no reason other than greed, I don't want anyone else to have to experience."

And when I've had need, he has been there to direct my path, and answer every question I've ever asked, (and I've asked some silly questions). I've been pretty ignorant of the insurance game, and Steve has gone out of his way to fix that for me. I sincerely appreciate all he's done to help me. I'd personally argue for 6 stars if I could. If you're in the market for an insurance broker or agent in the O'Fallon Illinois area, I highly recommend Mack Risk Management to anyone who will listen. It's the least I can do. I'm that kind of appreciative."
