"It was an older hotel , it was clean and well kept. But it smelled of chlorine from the pool. The carpet in lobby was old and needed to be replaced. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They made the hotel feel like I was home. The breakfast was very good for a hotel. All things considered I would stay here again and recommend it."

"Ryan was very helpful when we arrived. When the A/C wasn't working in our room, he came right up to check it out. He offered to change our room, running back to the lobby and back to us with new keys to a room right across the hall. The hotel is 17-18 years old, but other than the A/C issue, the rooms were very clean and updated. I would not have guessed it was more than a few years old. Maintenance and housekeeping must be top-notch, and front desk personnel are friendly and attentive. Yes, I would stay here for my next trip to Jacksonville Illinois. GO Illinois College LADY BLUES!!"

"The only reason I keep coming back here is because of the customer centered service. Each and every staff member is super friendly and wonderful. A five star staff. Now, the bad stuff, carpets, curtains, wood type furniture nd the pet smell, all need immediate attention.... lao why is there still Christians music playing playing ?! This should be an easy fix!!! Keep the Hilton a Hilton impressive feel at all times, right??"

"The rooms are on the small side, but still very nice. Take your own pillow, tho. I've never seen worse! Lovely continental breakfast. So many choices! Ryan, who checked us in, was incredibly nice and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!"
