La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Collinsville - St. Louis

"Worst LaQuinta I've ever stayed at. We were in the area for work and I've never been so disappointed. We always stay at LaQuintas and I understand they are a franchise. So first off the carpets and floors and elevator look like your staying at a hourly hotel and that goes for the so called Breakfast included. Eggs that look like they are days old and mystery sausage. No bagels, bread was stale, pancake machine was not working properly and no syrup. Juice spilled on elevator and no one bothered to clean it up. Will definitely NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay. And they have a bunch of stipulations about what kind of card you use is what your deposit will be. Oh and also mold in the shower"

"Everything was good until I saw a Stink bug. The staff is friendly, the room is big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the breakfast is delicious. Had a quiet night and took a good rest here. Before I went to sleep, I saw a stink bug on the nightstand and released a horrible smell."

"I had the unfortunate experience of being relocated for 30 days due to moisture issues in my apartment and was sent here to stay until I was able to go back home. I have 4 kids one being 2 months at the time. At first I was uncomfortable with the rooms given to us and Stan and the sweet lady who worked front desk overnight made sure me and my children were comfortable and had conjoining rooms. The housekeepers and the lady who worked overnight went above and beyond for my family. Since we were displaced during Halloween there was a note attached to my door and a basket with goodies for my kids and myself. I later found out the overnight front desk worker went out her way to make the best of us being displaced out our home. One of the housekeepers even bought my son a nerf gun to play with. The staff kept a close eye out on my children during breakfast as well. I was so blessed and pleased to have such an understanding staff. At the time I had no idea about the issues at home and I was 8 weeks postpartum and still not fully healed from my C-section. They made life so easy and I was so grateful. I would definitely stay again if I needed to and would recommend them to anyone traveling in this area. They are phenomenal with dealing with multiple families because it was numerous complex’s and families staying there at once. I think this would be a great place for families during family reunions. The rooms are exactly as pictured and you can smell the cleanliness when housekeeping is working. Its been two months since my stay and I’m finally getting a chance to sit down and give my review. Thanks for all you guys do your hard work did not go unnoticed."

"This hotel was in a really convenient location. I stayed twice when i traveled across the country and back. There are plenty of grassy areas for your dog, and its in a quiet area. On the first stay they put us on the first floor next to the laundry and it was very noisy all night. We requested a different floor during our second stay and they were very accomodating."

"Location and service was very good. We only stayed one night, but didn’t have any issues. Rooms were a little dirty but overall decently kept. Breakfast was standard - eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, cereal, and yogurt. Tasted fine. We had our dog with us and had no issues with that either. Would stay again with or without our dog."
