Grayslake Middle School
Grayslake Middle School, located at 440 Barron Boulevard in Grayslake, Illinois, is a school dedicated to empowering learners, creating equity, and cultivating community. The school, built in 1969, serves seventh and eighth-grade students from Avon Center School, Meadowview School, Prairieview School, or Woodview School boundaries. The school is led by Principal Marcus Smith and Assistant Principal Aaron Gross. Due to ongoing repairs, all classes are currently held at the University Center of Lake County, also known as "GMS East." The school hours are from 8:45 am to 3:15 pm on normal days, 10:05 am to 3:15 pm on late start days, and 8:45 am to 11:45 am on early dismissal days.
