"Devasting experience..I had high risk pregnancy with preeclampsia in previous ones and she was supportive and informative that we felt we could trust her. During the process we were to be induced. Labor went great, she was still supportive and made us comfortable. In post partum, I hemorrhage and had to get a balloon inserted which he calmly informed me and said this was the right move...after the insert I saw her only once to remove the balloon and not another time after that. Then once the baby was born, it was like my concerns were no longer rational. I would call complaining of swelling and the phone nurse would stall to talk to the doctor. We inserted IUD and I had pain issues and turns out I had to go to ER because it moved out of place and had to be removed. My issue was after my baby was born I was no longer important enough as a patient and had been directed to go to the ER for concerns. My last appt I had concerns with breast pain I had for a month and I was originally told to reduce caffeine. Another week later I couldn't take it and made the appt. I was 15 min early and had to wait 45 mins before getting seen. And when I did get seen by Dr Kilgore she was skeptical but I could tell she wasn't as invested as when I was pregnant being concerned. I don't want other women to go through what I did especially with my last baby. If this was my first it would be horrifying to know my doctor wasn't there when I felt I needed her most - AFTER birth."
