Yorktown Apartments

"I had lived here for a little bit over a year and overall I liked living here. Staff have been nice and helpful. Once you understand the quirks of the building and how things work this is a pretty nice place to live. People here are nice. It is also a nice location around restaurants and malls. The only issues I had would be that the elevators do have issues and laundry machines break. The main issue would be that when switching from heat or to a/c a lot of the time it is warm outside still and the higher levels will get really hot."

"I absolutely love being a resident here. Everyone is lovely and my apartment is incredibly stunning! Maintenance is expedient. My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. Special shout out to Nate and Stephanie for their benevolence. I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment to anyone, it's outstanding in every way."

"I lived 12 months in this place, i had a great time, it is most of the time very clean. I had few issues with my fridge/plumbing and maintenance came very quickly. What disappoint me a lot on this place is the commercial aspect. The sale representative doesn't show any respect, chewing his gum with his mouth wide open in front of you when he speaks to you. As the studio i wanted to have wasn't available when i did the visit, he showed me a brand new renovated apartment, and claimed mine will be the same. I had to deposit 500$ and when i got the key, the apartment they gave me was 20 years older. As i was moving in in August, i asked him when the pool was closing and he told me end of September as it was closing on September 5. They also forced me to subscribe for their locker system for package, they will share your email adress and phone number WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL and block your packages if you don't pay the subscription. And they say they can't unlock the lockers if you want to get the package, you need to see with the company owning the lockers but these people are administrators and can help you. Watch out with these sale people, they are not honest and i don't understand why direction is keeping them."

"Lived here for years , just recently moved out. Not due to my experience here , more so IL as a whole. However, I feel this place gets a bad wrap for silly things. It’s great, more so, what made my stay here for so many years was the people. Made some life long friends that I don’t feel like I wouldn’t otherwise. Met my spouse here. So I guess I bias. However it a community here, not a hotel. The pool is 10/10. The gym is super clean. Sadly waiting for the elevators created so many opportunities to chat and people are crazy friendly here. Apartment living is apartment living. It’s expensive, parking isn’t cheap but seemed to me to be on par with other places. I was a fan of being in a high rise that have a balcony and wasn’t a little shoe box. I had a 1 bed and it was huge. Would have never left if I wasn’t headed out of state."

"Great place! Stephanie made my touring/leasing process seamless and comfortable. Common areas are very clean and professional. Amenities are great: Fitness center, package delivery, pool. Management is quick to respond to emails and questions. Overall, I’ve had a great experience."
