"Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A nice museum section citing history and biological sects well, in easy to digest displays. Numerous paths thru the meadows to the swamp edges, some interesting signs. A boardwalk and large blind so you can look out over the water. A pleasant excursion."

"We went there to kayak the Cypress Swamp. Yeah, you need to do that if you can. It isnot like you see of swamps in the movies. Very open and easy to travel with a well laid out trail to follow and find your way back."
"The staff at the nature center were friendly and knowledgeable. We canoed through the area and it was breathtaking. Definitely with the trip. They warned us about snakes, which made me glad it was cooler when we went. 10/10 for the paddle, 0/10 for potential snake encounters."
