Maironis Lithuanian School
Maironis Lithuanian School is located at 14911 East 127th Street, Lemont, Illinois, United States. This school is dedicated to preserving Lithuanian language, culture, and traditions for students living abroad. Families with Lithuanian passports are encouraged to register for the school's program. The school receives support from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sports for the year 2023. A fee of $75 is required for families who do not participate in the school's monitoring program. Your support is always appreciated, whether through monitoring or purchasing hot lunches that contribute to the school's budget. If your child will be absent, please notify the school in advance by filling out a form with the child's name, class, teacher's name, and date of absence. This form is used to inform the school about a student's absence. If you need to pick up your child early, please visit the office 15 minutes before the desired pick-up time to fill out a short form and wait for the monitor to bring your child. Despite changes in students, teachers, and administration over the school's 60-year history, the school's mission to preserve Lithuanian language, culture, and traditions remains unchanged.
