Alexander Park

The park features a swimming pool, playground, park shelter, all Sport Court, and a shaded wading pool. Whether you enjoy swimming, playing basketball, volleyball, tennis, roller hockey, horseshoes, or simply relaxing under a tree with a good book, Alexander Park has something for everyone. Originally built in 1922 by Alex Anderson and his sons, Alexander Park has a rich history as the first outdoor pool with a re-circulating water system in the region. The park was generously donated to the Princeton Park District in 1953 by the Anderson Family, and has since undergone renovations and expansions to enhance the facilities and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors.
