"Our counselor was pushing experimental treatments like EMDR on us after we repeatedly stated we did not want that. She also tried to tell us that tried and true methodologies (such as CBT) were actually not effective? She was nice, but ultimately more interested in talking over us rather than asking us about our feelings and what we wanted. We would regularly leave sessions more upset with eachother and in fights than when we first arrived."
