The Jackson County School Superintendent is located at 1001 Walnut Street in Murphysboro, Illinois, United States. This institution serves Alexander, Jackson, Perry, Pulaski, and Union Counties, providing support and services to schools in the region. They are currently soliciting services for a Farm-to-School Formula Grant in partnership with the Illinois State Board of Education. The main office is located at the Jackson County Courthouse, with additional offices in Anna, Murphysboro, and Pinckneyville. The COPE School, located on Shomaker Drive in Murphysboro, is also under the jurisdiction of the Jackson County School Superintendent. Please note that cellphones are not allowed in the courthouse. Operating hours for the various offices are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
