Pure Dental Spa West Loop

"I’ve been going here a couple years and had a generally fine experience with cleanings, but not when I decided to treat myself to teeth whitening. I arrived and the hygienist asked if I’d ever done this before and if they should explain the process, I said yes, but they didn’t explain. At least 4 times someone stopped by and asked if the hygienist needed help, which started to concern me. The dentist reminded them to determine what shade my teeth were now so they could compare post-procedure, but they never compared after. The actual whitening seemed to go fine, but then you do impressions for whitening trays (I had to ask, they didn’t tell me why we were doing this). It seemed like the hygienist had never done this before. I’ve had impressions for mouthguards, etc. and it has always been fine. But she overfilled the trays with this green goo so much that it was hanging off the sides and I was choking on it. We had to do it multiple times because it wasn’t working, each time with me spitting out all the excess goo. So gross. When I went to pay, it cost significantly more than when I inquired about the procedure (granted, I asked earlier in the year, but you’d think the price wouldn’t increase by $200). After I left, I ran errands, and went home, only to realize the hygienist and receptionist had let me leave with the green goo still all over my teeth and dried in patches on my face. The cherry on top is despite the price, my teeth aren’t even white. They looked white the first day or two, and I abstained from all teeth staining foods (coffee, tea, wine, soy sauce, tomato, etc) for a week as instructed, but 3 weeks later and they’ve gone back to their normal shade. There are some little, strange things about the office I’ve ignored in previous appointments—they have a “complimentary comfort menu” which seems very nice but both times I requested something I never received it; and there’s a big dog that roams the office. I love dogs, but seems unhygienic for a medical facility and concerning for those with allergies. I think next time I’ll just use white strips."

"I Had a root canal done by Dr. McCormick and he was hands down the best dentist I’ve had visited.He took his time and was very thorough and most importantly the entire procedure was pain free even after the anesthesia wore off I was still pain free. Also, the ambiance was comfortable and relaxing I trusted dental spa immediately after checking in because of the atmosphere alone. And lastly, all the staff were nice and professional.The young lady at the desk was very knowledgeable of the insurances coverages and also advised me on the the difference payment options I am proud to be a new patient of dental spa"

"I’ve had an amazing experience at Pure Dental Spa! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. At checkin, you’re asked if you’d like to add complimentary spa services to the appointment - who would turn that down?! I added the paraffin hand wax and warm next pillow and had the greatest teeth cleaning done by Ashley. Then, I came back for an invisilign appointment and Dr. Patel, Dr. Bond and Carmen had me in and out. This was truly the best dentist experience I’ve ever had, highly recommend."

"This is a reflection of Danielle, registered hygienist. I’ve been going to Pure Dental since their doors opened in Bloomingdale and now go to West Loop location. Danielle was so kind and while I had discomfort due to a filling that fell out, she was super mindful and accommodating. While routine dentist visits stress me out, she was incredible and made it a stress free experience. Thank you Danielle!"

"Dr.Patel and the entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable and genuine during the whole experience of my wisdom teeth removal. Prior dentist failed to let me know the issues with keeping my wisdom teeth in or even mentioning that they were there. Here with Dr.Patel and his team that will never be an issue because they are very vocal and even break down the most complex situations into a step by step process to assure you the comfort you deserve! Google only allows me 5 stars but truthfully Dr. Prem Patel and his staff deserve much more then 5 stars for the experience they have given me and I’m sure so many others. Thank you again Dr.Patel for everything! Now let’s enjoy thanksgiving with no wisdom teeth!"
