The Alton Splash Pad, located at 1 Riverfront Drive in Alton, Illinois, was created through a grant from the American Water Charitable Foundation to provide an inclusive water-based play space for children to connect with nature and the outdoors. Managed by the National Recreation and Park Association, the splash pad offers a fun and safe environment for families to enjoy during the summer season from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Private rentals are available for up to 100 people, as well as designated birthday party areas for up to 20 people. Groups must make reservations through the Alton Parks & Recreation office before entering the splash pad area. The facility also features concession and restroom facilities, promoting water conservation, environmental education, and water-based recreation.
