The Prairieland Barbershop Chorus, located at 400 East Carroll Street in Macomb, Illinois, is a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Our small chorus consists of men from across Macomb who come together to sing a variety of genres including traditional barbershop, country/western, and doo-wop. Join us for rehearsals every Monday evening from 7pm-9pm at the First Presbyterian Church. You can also hire us to entertain at your next event, whether it's a corporate function, charity event, wedding, or even a funeral or memorial service. The Fulton County Play House is a community institution located at 18500 North Wright Road in Banner, Illinois, United States. They are hosting auditions for their upcoming musical offering, "Coffeehouse: Escapades", which was conceived by Tammy Weaver. The auditions will take place on Saturday, April 6 from 9-1 and Sunday, April 7 from 1-3 at the First Christian Church in Canton, located at 215 W. Elm. All children ages 5-18 are welcome to audition, and rehearsals will be held at the church and at Lewistown High School. The performance dates for the musical are June 27-30.
