Carpenter's Corner is a community Thrift & More Store located at 1715 Rural Street in Rockford, Illinois. This institution is a project of Carpenter's Place, aimed at raising funds to support homeless adults and families in crisis. In addition to being a thrift store, Carpenter's Corner also offers special mission-based programs such as the Cycles for Change bike program and a Children's Giving Library called Kids' Corner. The store provides professional clothing for those seeking employment, furniture, household goods, and much more. The Grand Opening on March 10 was a huge success, and donations are now being accepted Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Carpenter's Corner is not accepting sleeper sofas, mattresses, large appliances, or large office furniture. A pick-up service is available for items that cannot be easily brought to the store. The store is now open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 6pm, offering fantastic deals and great bargains to benefit the community's homeless and families in crisis. RPL Nordlof Center
The RPL Nordlof Center is a cultural hub located at 118 North Main Street in Rockford, Illinois.
