"Had them handle my case in 2019 and already had the court case filed to appear myself. They told me it would be 2,500 to take care of the whole case. Simple closing of a child support case children grown an out of school. And the reduction in past child support due to being disabled for years. And here it is 2023 and nothing has changed. Talked to them several times just to get the run around. Even Talked to the state to find out nobody has did anything to reduce the arrears child support has been charging me the amount I was making working when I wasn't because of becoming disabled. From 2008 till 2018 when I was approved disability. Everything was simple to handle having my earnings statement from the government and still struggling to get the case handled that should have been handled in 2020 in the court room. If they cannot take care of this case I'm going to have to call an file a motion with illinois state bar Association because I can understand we went through covid but it's 2023 and should have been handled already I've been patiently waiting and calling but it's getting worse because the court order state 250 a month but they are taking 561 now and not equally splitting the money with the 2 cases in Missouri ignoring the court order and taking everything for the illinois case causing problems with the missouri 2 cases to be completely honest the only thing that changed is the case is closed and I could have done that myself. But the attorney said they would get the arrears changed and my license released and hasn't talked to illinois child support and they stated nothing has been filed for reduction of past years of child support and has charged me money I wasn't even making. After posting this review they dropped me as a client After being Patient for 3 years that should have been done on the court date or at least one year after. Spent one day on the phone and did it myself talking to the court and child support office and both said the lawyer should have done this after explaining to them what happened and how the lawyer dropped me after waiting 3 years calling him to get something done. Lost 2,500 that I ended up doing myself. Everything is handled now no thanks to my attorney that dropped me for telling the truth on here."
