It serves as a hub for various CTA train lines including the Pink Line, Brown Line, Orange Line, and Purple Line Express. The station offers connections to several CTA bus routes and provides free transfers between all 'L' routes. Passengers can easily transfer to the Red and Blue Lines by walking a short distance from the station. Please note that there may be some temporary service disruptions, such as elevator outages, due to maintenance issues. Loop-bound Purple Line Express trains may also have special stops for Cubs night games and Wrigley Field concerts. Additionally, there are shared tracks between Thorndale and Belmont for Red and Purple Line trains.
