We have learned so much, gotten in much better physical and mental shape, and have never had more fun. The instruction is top notch - our lessons are tailored to our needs, the teachers are unbelievably supportive, and we've really progressed. What's really special, though, is the sense of family, of camaraderie, and just plain joy that permeates the studio - It's truly our happy place! We have so much enjoyed the personal attention from the instructors and are continuing lessons after the wedding. The instructors are very professional yet friendly and we enjoy the company of the other students. There are private as well as group lessons and lots of other fun social activities. "On my 50th birthday, ballroom dancing came to mind because I wanted to take up a new “sport” to help keep me in shape and at the same time I also wanted to do something fun with my wife. While I was willing to jump in with both feet, my wife is a bit more cautious about my crazy ideas. Now we both love it and have been taking lessons for over a year. We expected to find just a couple of instructors in a small studio. Instead, we were surprised to see a beautiful ballroom with an expansive dance floor and to see seven instructors teaching private lessons with another teaching a group lesson. The staff and the students were incredibly warm and welcoming. Initially we felt self-conscious but our instructor Amanda made us feel comfortable from the minute we were on the dance floor. After our first lesson, we discussed wanting to dance better at weddings and charity events and Amanda crafted a lesson plan to meet that goal. What keeps us coming back is the positive experience. The instructors are both highly accomplished dancers as well as great teachers. It’s also fun to learn with people of all ages including engaged couples, parents getting ready for their child’s wedding, professionals and super fit seniors."
