Welcome to the Waterloo Police Department, dedicated to serving the community of Waterloo, Illinois, with professionalism, integrity, and compassion. Located at 301 South Main Street, our department is committed to enhancing the quality of life for all residents through effective policing and community partnerships. Our team comprises 15 full-time police officers, including the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, a Sergeant, and a Detective, along with 5 dedicated crossing guards. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of our community.

Situated at 4576 Buss Branch Road, just 8 miles south of Millstadt and 4 miles south of Smithton on Floraville Road, our church is a proud part of the Diocese of Belleville. At St. Michael’s Paderborn, we are dedicated to serving the entire community—Catholic and non-Catholic alike—by providing a stabilizing presence and fostering a sense of identity and belonging. Our church acts as an extended family, offering support and companionship, especially in times of need. We are committed to worshiping God as a united community and living out our faith by spreading the Good News through both word and action. Our mission is to keep the faith alive in our area and within our families by engaging everyone, with a special focus on reaching out to the youth, newcomers, and non-practicing members of the Church.
