"Our family has spent years searching for the right dentist, and we were beginning to become convinced that we just weren't going to find a dentist that we could completely trust and rely on to look out for our best interests. Fortunately, we found Dr. Salerno and we couldn't be more pleased. There are a few things that set her apart from the other dentists we've seen over the years: -She always takes the time to explain everything she is doing thoroughly and always discusses all available options and the pros/cons to each. Other dentists tend to try and push you toward a decision that they want you to make and it almost feels like a sales pitch. Dr. Salerno never approaches treatment options this way. -She never fails to have an extremely positive and friendly demeanor. It's always a pleasure to visit her office as you can be certain that she will be happy to see you and spend some time catching up before treatment gets underway. Nearly every other dentist I've seen over the years sends an assistant in to do most of the prep work, the dentist makes a brief appearance and then the assistant is back to finish the job. Dr. Salerno's approach just feels more genuine and pleasant. -She's clearly concerned about the long-term best interests of her clients. I understand that dentistry is a business like any other and that dentists have a lot of costs to cover. Unfortunately for many dentists this has translated into pushing expensive cosmetic options as "necessary" and offering few options that don't cost an arm and a leg. Dr. Salerno offers all of these services as well, but in my opinion she gives a much more honest assessment of what's truly needed in a given situation. She's understanding of the costs involved and always looks for options to reduce costs if possible without compromising the quality of care. This is something our family really appreciates. We highly recommend Dr. Salerno!"
