Rhodes Skate Park is a popular tourist attraction located at 1555 West Front Street in Boise, Idaho, United States. This 1.28-acre special use park near the Linen District was designed with input from local youth, catering to skateboarding and inline skating enthusiasts. The park prohibits motorized vehicles, electric mobility devices, and alcoholic beverages. Currently, there is construction near Fire Station 5, so the adjacent parking lot is fenced off. Overflow parking is available at the corner of Spa St and 15th St. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all City of Boise parks, including Rhodes Skate Park. The park was named after Glenn Rhodes, who dedicated his time and resources to create a safe and fun space for Boise's youth. With the help of over 130 contractors, individuals, civic groups, and businesses, Rhodes raised funds and donations to build the park. Despite challenges, Rhodes remained focused on his vision, and the park was dedicated in December 1995. Rhodes Skate Park stands as a testament to his dedication to providing recreational opportunities for the community.
