Trailer parking with day use passes in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Blackwell Island Recreation Site, located at 945 U.S. 95 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is a popular park managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This recreational area offers convenient access to the Spokane River and Lake Coeur d’Alene, with four ADA accessible launch lanes and 134 trailer parking spaces. The site is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and features amenities such as picnicking areas, a native plant garden, and a boardwalk nature trail for wildlife viewing. Visitors can purchase a day use pass for $6 or a season pass voucher for $40 at credit card machines near the parking areas. Season pass vouchers can be redeemed on-site for a vehicle hang tag during specified hours. The fees collected go towards maintenance and improvements at the Blackwell site, including upgrades to the nature trail, fencing, interpretive signs, and parking lot maintenance.
