The park was acquired from Beth and Bruce Bowler in 1995. Boise Parks and Recreation is dedicated to providing accessible and inclusive experiences for all visitors. The playground at Bowler Park features inclusive equipment and bonded rubber surfacing for mobility device users. The park also includes a designated dog park area with a shy dog section, shelter, trash cans, and a watering station with a dog bowl.
