Childbloom Guitar, located at 819 U.S. 2 in Sandpoint, Idaho, is a unique school offering guitar lessons for children ages 5-12. Directed by Larry Mooney, a local Director with the Childbloom Guitar Program, this institution provides a low-pressure, fun, and affordable group setting for young aspiring musicians. Using a structured and proven program, children are taught finger-style guitar, music theory, chords, and even the blues. With a focus on performance, students have the opportunity to showcase their skills in periodic recitals, local public venues, and eventually on the concert stage. Lessons are weekly for 1/2 hour, where children learn by listening to recordings, imitating what they hear, and playing games designed to make learning fun.
