"My father was sent here June 26, 2024 from his nursing home in Twin City, Georgia and returned July 9th. When he left the nursing home, he was walking, talking and eating.... he was hyperactive and aggressive due to dementia, he joked constantly, and was very talkative. When they returned him two weeks later, he was on a stretcher, couldn't walk, eat, or talk... keep in mind, this man wouldn't shut up, sit down, and loved to eat. The nursing home staff were so concerned, they sent him to the hospital and he was admitted and placed in ICU. The hospital said he was extremely overmedicated, had the worst case of dehydration they'd seen in a long time, and he had a UTI. It took 5 days to hydrate him in ICU while on fluids the entire time. They feel he was heavily sedated and laid on his back the entire time as he now can barely walk and has sores on him as well. The man that returned to the nursing home is unrecognizable to both myself and the staff. He needs physical therapy to hopefully learn to walk again (he was walking just fine and even claiming he was going to jump the fence before he left). I've reached out to an Atlanta based attorney for medical negligence and he will be proceeding with his case. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not send your loved ones here."

"The Pavilion the nursing home part of the hospital I wouldn’t recommend. The cna’s and nurses are overworked and treated bad by the upper management especially the D.O.N. Autumn Walls she just got there and she’s already running it into the ground. The nurse managers (Tana) talks to the nurses and cna’s horribly. And the poor residents omg please don’t take your family to this nursing facility I beg you! RUN"

"I witnessed bullying. I saw the elderly pushed down to the floor and punched. I saw patients overmedicated and experiencing terrible side effects. I saw people who should not have been there. I was always sent there because the nursing home I was at was cruel in the same ways, and wanted to hide their crimes from the State. I called the Ombudsman. She called the State. Anyone who called the Ombudsman was sent to Senior Care at Appling, in Baxley Ga. The last time I went the “nurse” put me on medication that was making me sick. She stated that if I refused to take it I would get a shot of geodon. Geodon is for schizophrenia. I had been put on geodon before and it affected my heart. I called my aunt and she came and took me out of Tattnall nursing home. I have never been to Senior Care again. Praise God. Had I continued with that “medication “, it would have killed me. I have no doubt."

Matt is my primary care provider but I ended up using Mandi due to living in Vidalia and was very sick. Mandi worked me in and took great concern and care of me. Matt is worth the 30 minute drive."
