Reece Farm & Heritage Center
β ClosedThe Reece Farm & Heritage Center, located in Blairsville, Georgia, is a museum dedicated to preserving the early 20th century Appalachian style of life. Visitors can experience farm life from this era, complete with farm animals and fruit & vegetable production. The Byron Herbert Reece Farm features restored barns, a corn crib, chicken house, smokehouse, spring house, and petting farm. State-of-the-art exhibits tell the story of Byron Herbert Reece, a farmer, writer, and poet who lived on the site. The museum also includes a visitor's center, gift shop, creek-side amphitheater, and picnic tables. Small venue concerts are held behind the welcome center on the stage beside the creek or at the pavilion.
