"My friends experience today. Your employees should be ashamed! I'll never shop there. Y’all I’m so hurt! Idk what to do. I’m a plus size woman that’s about 7 months pregnant. My stomach is showing but you wouldn’t necessarily be able to tell glancing at me. I passed by American Eagle on my way to Barnes and Noble and decided to go in because I like their dresses. They’re on clearance now. Why when I got in there the guy behind the counter started making pig noises??? Mind you I’m wearing a bright pink shirt. I looked at him as he laughed with his coworkers but he wasn’t looking at me so I went on about my business. I found a tennis type dress I liked and I thought the sizing would be perfect for my stomach to grow into. I decided not to get it after trying it on because I didn’t like it’s arm flare. I started to get agitated when trying on because my back started hurting and I started to feel pressure in my pelvis, so much to where I thought I need to hurry up and sit down. As I started walking out building there was another girl behind the counter making duck noises each time I walk loudly to where the rest of the store could hear it. I know I should have said something while I was in the store but I was in literal physical pain, trying to hurry and find a seat, while trying to get my son out of the store. Also it was so humiliating because there were other people there as well. Is there something I can or should do from this point? Edit/ update: I wrote this shortly after my leaving the store, while parked in my car. I sat for a minute asking myself did that really just happen? Shortly after uploading my 5 year old asked me asked me “were they making noises at you mommy?” I didn’t even know what to say so I just told him honestly I wasn’t sure. The fact he noticed and I didn’t do anything in that moment really disturbs me. The store is in Marietta, Ga and I’ve already emailed corporate. I’m going to wait until Monday in hopes of getting in contact with the store manager. Y’all I truly am humiliated by the situation and wish to stay anonymous as much as possible, but please feel free to share my story how you see fit. Thank you all for your support and responses. I really didn’t want to do too much or too little and you all made me realize how important saying something is."

"This store is absolutely trash as far as customer service. Since when is it okay to make fun of customers by making animal noises as they walk through the store? Every employee at the store during this time should be terminated since everything is so funny. Then you can ki-ki in the unemployment line."
