For a more adventurous experience, visitors can explore the 9-mile Pocket Loop Trail, which breaks off from the Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail and features wildlife openings, a camping area, and the "High Point" on Pigeon Mountain with stunning winter vistas. To reach the trailhead, take GA Hwy 193 to the intersection of GA Hwy 341 and Hog Jowl Road, then travel south on Hog Jowl for about 2.8 miles before turning left onto Pocket Road.
