Welcome to Southeast Georgia Community Projects - Food Distribution Center, a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to uplifting our community through health and education initiatives. Located at 300 South State Street, Lyons, Georgia, we have been serving the area since February 3, 1995. Our mission is to empower individuals, particularly in Candler, Tattnall, and Toombs Counties, by promoting self-sufficiency and dignity. In the heart of the "Sweet Onion Country," our center addresses the needs of the local workforce, including the significant Latino community involved in agriculture and other industries. We proudly support approximately 9,000 seasonal and guest workers, primarily H2A workers from Mexico, who are integral to our local economy.
