"I ordered a three-piece spicy fish meal with a side of clams. I asked the worker for some extra tartar sauce, so she gave me a total of four. I asked for two extra tartar sauces because I like extra tartar sauce on my fish and my clams. She told me that she gave me four and they're not supposed to give out so many. I offered to buy the extra tartar sauce, but she said they don't sell them. If they don't sell them, I guess it shouldn't be a problem with giving me an extra two. She said she would only give me one and she had an attitude about that. I like Captain D's so I won't let this incident keep me away."
"Terrible experience. Terribly prepared food. Shrimp? Really? Take your own ketchup and lemons because they won’t give you enough for your meal."
"We were not allowed to purchase anything à la carte that is listed as part of a combo. My wife simply wanted to order garlic shrimp, but she was denied because she wouldn't also accept the two pieces of fish--that dish is available only in a predetermined combo. Sad."
"Decided to stop during a LONG trip home and was pleasantly surprised by the place. I've always loved Captian D's and this one was awesome! Nice customer service, workers were very professional and kind, condiment area was clean and stocked, and tea wasn't overly sweet. The food was also crispy, tender and full! The lobster bites were stuffed with lobster goodness! Also, unfortunately, I didn't get the cashiers name but she was an absolute gem (beautiful braids as well) 100000% recommend"
