Our mission is to promote respect for human dignity, ensure equal treatment, and combat discrimination in all its forms. The Light of the World has a rich tradition of celebrating the Holy Supper, a sacred observance commemorated annually for nearly a century. This celebration is a poignant reminder of the redemptive sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, fostering a spirit of unity and fellowship among congregants worldwide. Our church is proud to host regional celebrations across the United States and Canada, as well as international gatherings in Australia and New Zealand, among other locations.

Ezekiel Church: A Glimpse into History Nestled at 4617 Alma Highway in Waycross, Georgia, Ezekiel Church stands as a poignant reminder of the past. Originally founded around 1874, this historic place of worship has been a cornerstone for the rural community once known as Pebble Hill, later Dixie Union. The current structure, crafted by Manning Thigpen in 1899, tells a story of resilience and change as it witnessed the world evolving through wars, industrial shifts, and the transformation of the South.
