"We bought a home (we closed this morning) from two people who claim to be professional real estate agents at this company's Blue Ridge office, GA and could not have had a worse experience. The communication from these two woman to our agent was completely unprofessional and incredibly catty. The deal was almost killed twice due to unreasonable "negotiations" that we are pretty sure we're not coming from the Seller. I would even venture that the seller was unaware of the situations. These agents also did a poor job advocating for their seller. They agreed to be complete with the agreed upon repairs to the property (at seller's cost) BEFORE the finance contingency date had expired. We weren't sure we would qualify for the loan so that seller could have been out $20K if we didn't qualify for financing. Doesn't seem like a smart negotiation tactic. Finally, they agreed to have repairs completed 10 days before the closing date, which did not occur. Our agent, who was a saint through all of this craziness, told us to just take the high road and let them finish the repairs. We did this even though we ended up paying for TWO re-inspections to ensure the fixes were complete (ONE was done after the due date that they were supposed to have been completed and ONE after they were actually completed). The items they didn't complete were expensive repairs and ones that we wouldn't really have been able to check to confirm they were complete, such as propane pipes and chimney dampener issues. I would like to believe that this was merely an oversight on the agents' part, but after completing this experience with them it is clear that they would have happily let us believe they completed their contractual obligation relating to repairs even though they had not. Thank goodness we had the first re-inspection! As part of this same agreement they were to have the house "Professionally Cleaned". We went to the property immediately after the closing and took the attached pictures. There is absolutely no way a professional cleaner went through that house! These agents admitted that a professional cleaner did not clean the house, they had one of their mothers "clean-up" the house. This house has 20 foot ceilings with cobwebs and dust that was supposed to be cleaned out. A parent, who is not a professional cleaner is not going to have the skill or the tools to manage this kind of cleaning. To rectify this situation, our agent contacted these woman to obtain the phone number of the cleaner so we could ask them to complete the job or for them to allow us to hire a professional and be reimbursed. Our agent was told that since we had already closed they aren't obligated to do the cleaning nor do they have to give us the cleaners name. These are two of the most unprofessional and unethical people I have had the displeasure to work with. If you are considering buying property or putting your property on the market I would steer clear of this company. If they employ these two, I would assume the other agents are the same. HOWEVER, if you really MUST work with them, and you’re the buyer, make sure to have the company that does your initial inspection conduct a re-inspection to ensure the unethical agents from this company have actually conducted the work AND that it hasn’t been “completed” by the agent’s Mother!"
