Emory Interfaith Center
The Emory Interfaith Center, located at 1707 North Decatur Road in Atlanta, Georgia, is a groundbreaking project by Emory University to create a space for worship, prayer, meditation, and interfaith engagement on campus. This center will serve as a home away from home for Emory's diverse spiritual communities, offering sacred spaces, meeting rooms, and offices for chaplaincy staff and student leaders. The center will also provide spaces for contemplation and artistic expression, welcoming all spiritual traditions represented at Emory. The design and construction of the center began in fall 2022, with a goal to complete and dedicate the facility in the fall semester of 2023. Contributions are being sought to support this important project, with the hope of dedicating the center with earth blessed by His Holiness The Dalai Lama. The Emory Interfaith Center aims to foster dialogue, service, and social justice work, bridging the campus community with the Atlanta community and beyond.
