The Thread is a 12-foot wide path that winds through the historic neighborhoods and lush parks of LaGrange, offering a safe and inviting environment for walking, running, and biking. Designed to promote health and wellness, The Thread provides residents and visitors with a non-motorized, multi-purpose trail perfect for fitness and recreation. Our mission at Haralson St. Trailhead is to protect and advance The Thread, as part of the broader vision to connect neighborhoods and parks across LaGrange. As an ongoing project, new sections of The Thread are added annually, with an ambitious goal of over 29 miles of paved paths. We are proud to be part of this transformative initiative, which is supported by Friends of The Thread Trail LaGrange GA, Inc., a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization.
