"I did the 28 day board and train program. Because of how they advertise their training as “sleeping in our home”, I was under the impression that I was signing up/paying for in-home dog training, with one-on-one attention in a lower stress environment. That was not the case. They are a regular boarding facility and one of the owners lives on the same property, which is far from what they are advertising. When I dropped my dog off they didn’t even know where they were going to put her because they were over capacity and running low on kennel space. It was so bad that they almost had to put her in kennel in the cat room. At no point did I actually get to go in the building to see where she would be staying. The trainer didn’t even introduce herself until I finally asked for her name after they had taken my dog and her belongings inside. There was VERY little communication in the 4 weeks that my dog was in training. There was only one time in 28 days that I received an unprompted update. Part of what drew me to this company was because I saw that their webpage had “Pet Updates” and “Photo Gallery” tabs, which lead me to believe that I would actually be updated somewhat regularly. However, not a single update was added to those pages throughout the entire process. They require proof of vaccination (as they should), but they never verified my dog’s vaccinations; which makes me wonder how many non-vaccinated or under-vaccinated dogs are coming through their kennels. I finally picked my dog up last weekend. The only good thing that I have to say is that she did very well with what they taught her. Translating the lessons to back home is still a work in progress, but I believe she will do well with consistent practice. I was rather disappointed to find out that in 4 weeks of training, they only covered 7 commands (here, easy, quiet, sit, wait, kennel, and okay), and she already knew the last 4 of those commands before I dropped her off. They train with a shock collar, which can be done responsibly, but before I felt comfortable using it on my dog, I wanted to assess how the shock felt. So, I tested it on my hand, starting at 0 and slowly increasing the level. Well, it burnt my hand on ~35. They had my 25lb dog on level 40! I felt like a horrible dog owner after that. Needless to say, this was a very frustrating process. The training has done wonders for her off-leash behavior (she isn’t running away from home now), but overall the experience did not match up with my expectations."

"Best place for dogs ever! Great outdoor setting and great owners makes this a no brainer for boarding. This is the only place I take my dog, ever though it's a 30 minute drive from where I live. The owners are trainers and know how to "speak" to dogs and love them. They are absolutely the best!"

"I took my two choci labs Holly and Ivy their for off leash training! This is by far THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT on my pups! They did such a wonderful job!!!!! Taking them back for a little spring break later this week. They love your dog's like their own. Mike"
