The City of David - Food Distribution Center is a non-profit institution located at 227 Institute Street in Statesboro, Georgia. This center is dedicated to fighting food insecurity in the Coastal Georgia Region, with a focus on serving the counties of Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, McIntosh, and Wayne. Working in partnership with Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, the City of David - Food Distribution Center distributes over 2.2 million pounds of food annually to individuals and families in need. This not only helps to alleviate hunger in the community but also saves over $3.8 million in wholesale food costs.
