This institution offers train rides on select days, with the opportunity to explore a variety of real, life-size trains, cars, and buses that have played a significant role in transportation history. Visitors can also browse through an extensive collection of railroad memorabilia in the Exhibit Hall and Theater. While the institution is open for train rides on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, there will be no train operations on Saturday, Jan. 20th due to expected cold weather. However, there is still plenty to see and admire, with discounted admission prices for adults, seniors, and young railroad fans on Saturdays. Visitors are advised to dress warmly as the depot can be cool.
