Miller Trek Trailhead
Miller Trek Trailhead is a park and tourist attraction located in Young Harris, Georgia, United States. Visitors can enjoy 9.2 miles of wilderness trails that begin at Brasstown Valley Resort and lead into the Chattahoochee National Forest. The trail takes hikers through a Hardwood Forest filled with Tuliptree, Red Maple, White Oak, and Black Locust trees. Approximately 10-15% of the trail passes through a clear-cut area, showcasing the rapid regeneration of new growth and wildlife habitat. The 6.5-mile trail is marked with blue/green blazes and includes a 2.5-mile loop for shorter hikes. Along the way, hikers may spot White Tailed Deer, Red and Gray Fox, Flying Squirrels, and Black Bears. The elevation changes from 2000 feet to 3200 feet above sea level, offering a variety of flowering plants and scenic views.
