"I’ll never come back to this hospital. Have been here 8 hrs because my mother’s primary care physician wanted her to receive fluids due to dehydration. They finally started an IV after 6.5 hrs and we’re still here."

"Not only are they “always” short staffed, but they did not listen to me when i said i was feeling lightheaded due to my asthma. After finally being checked out in the morning after eight hours at the hospital, i came home and even with all medications taken, my asthma got worst. My airways are now closing, and I am wheezing more than ever ,after only being home 5 hours, i must now go to another hospital to get my asthma taken care of. I would think that Respiratory care is important to them, but clearly not. Austell location is by far the worst hospital ive ever been too. Just money hungry facility"

"My experience at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. The reason for my visit was 1. An abnormal EKG from Wellstar Urgent Care Vinings, who sent us there 2. An uncontrollably high - High Blood pressure levels averaging 170/80 the past 3 days, and 3. Dull Chest Pain only noticed the morning of January 4th. When my last BP was taken at Discharge, the level was 192/90. The Nurse didn't blink an eye or say a word. When I read my Discharge packet, it stated the purpose for my visit was: CHEST PAIN. So until I was in front of the Physician who spent a total of 10 minutes with me after my 10 HOUR wait/visit, I did not realize that my original EKG was not abnormal according to him. I said to him, "But the Vinings Urgent Care SENT US HERE BASED ON THAT ABNORMAL EKG." The doctor's response: "Oh they aren't real doctor's in Urgent Care. Our EKG performed on you is negative. This is the right one. Not theirs." He was very arrogant when making the statement as if there was some competition between the Urgent Care Centers and the Emergency Room preferences. That, too, was unsettling to me. If I can help it, I will never willingly visit your facility as a patient ever again. The Cobb County Homeless gave me a laugh or two which took me away from the agony of waiting all day in that horrid ER."

"I was amazed of the great care I received at Wellstar Emergency Services at Austell Road on yesterday. The Security Officers were excellent in the way they handled irate patients… I felt safe! Everyone was so kind and extremely courteous. Environment was very clean and great food in cafeteria. I felt at home… very peaceful!! Again an awesome experience!! JJ"
