The City of David - Food Distribution Center is a non-profit institution located at 227 Institute Street in Statesboro, Georgia. This center is dedicated to fighting food insecurity in the Coastal Georgia Region, with a focus on serving the counties of Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, McIntosh, and Wayne. Working in partnership with Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, the City of David - Food Distribution Center distributes over 2.2 million pounds of food annually to individuals and families in need. This not only helps to alleviate hunger in the community but also saves over $3.8 million in wholesale food costs.

Our mission is to support Bulloch County residents through our 2nd Saturday Food Pantry, offering essential food items to those in need. We invite community members with a photo ID and a physical address to visit us on the second Saturday of each month from 9-11am to receive assistance. Our outreach extends beyond just providing food; it's a community effort that brings joy and fulfillment to our church members of all ages. Volunteers play a crucial role in sorting, bagging, and assisting with carrying items to recipients' vehicles.
