The Fannin County Scholarship Foundation, located at 730 East 2nd Street in Blue Ridge, Georgia, is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that no deserving Fannin County High School graduate is denied access to higher education due to financial need. Established in 1991, the Foundation provides scholarships to talented and deserving students, helping them take the first step towards their college education. Through donations from individuals and businesses, thousands of dollars in scholarships have been awarded over the years. The Foundation also recognizes academic success by gifting the top ten students of each graduating class and placing their names on a Top Ten plaque at the high school. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of community volunteers.
