The Jim Cherry Teacher Center is a primary school located at 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard in Stone Mountain, Georgia, United States. This institution is part of the Georgia Learning Resources System (GLRS), which is a network of centers that provide training and resources to educators and parents of students with disabilities. The GLRS centers offer ongoing professional learning to help schools meet federal requirements such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and No Child Left Behind (NCLB). The Metro East Region of GLRS (MEGLRS) serves DeKalb, Decatur City, Fulton, Rockdale, Gwinnett, and Buford City Schools. MEGLRS provides services to students with disabilities and supports parents through information, resources, and coordination with the Georgia Parent Mentor Program. The center is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
