Our department is dedicated to providing exceptional fire protection, prevention, and emergency services throughout Union County and the City of Blairsville. As an integral part of the Union County Emergency Management Agency, we are committed to safeguarding lives and properties in our community. Our combination department operates from 12 strategically located stations, with Station 1 serving as our central hub near the City of Blairsville. Our team comprises 16 career firefighters and officers, supported by an administrative staff, including an administrative assistant, EMA staff member, Battalion Chief, and Fire Chief. Additionally, our dedicated volunteer force of 85 firefighters and officers plays a crucial role in our operations.
