Dalton Little Theatre
Dalton Little Theatre, located at 210 North Pentz Street in Dalton, Georgia, is a community theater that relies on its membership for support. Currently, the theater is showcasing a production of a Michael Slade work, directed by Josh Adler, which tells the heroic and true story of children coming of age in Terezin, the "Jewish city" established by the Nazis near Prague. Despite facing unspeakable horror, these children use their determination and creativity to build lives filled with hope and beauty. The play incorporates the actual poems and stories of these children, creating a fast-paced drama that highlights the universality of children caught in the insanity of war. Evening shows are at 7 P.M. with a Sunday matinee at 2 P.M., and run times vary. The house opens 30 minutes before the show starts. Group tickets are available for groups of 10 or more at $10 per ticket. To reserve group tickets, call DLT at 706-226-6618 and leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, and the number of seats you would like to reserve. Payment is expected in advance, and seats can be claimed at the box office on the night of the performance. Group ticket pricing is also available at the door if seats are available, but reservations are recommended.
