Dentistry for Children - McDonough

"NEGATIVE: Over an hour long wait time and very rushed when you are finally seen. My daughter was a new patient here, and it took over an hour for her to be seen. Naturally after that 1hr hit she really became irritated. The people here also seemed very cold, unfriendly and anxious to see the next patient once we were finally seen. My daughter was only seen for a short 5min(or less). And it felt so rushed I couldn't even think of any questions to ask. I also wanted to add that other patients were seen before my daughter even though we were there before their(other patients) arrival.(BTW We came 30min before our scheduled time so really we waited 1hr and 30min, but I just gave them grace on the 30min because we did arrive early. So I'm very proud of my daughter being so patient that whole time, so her being irritated after 1hr 30min(technically) is normal) POSITIVE: I only give them a 2 star because my daughter was entertained by the fish tank in the main waiting area. I'm also glad that my daughter had the option of not having to watch the strange cartoon(that I felt isn't appropriate for kids under age 10 to watch) that was shown at each chair."

"Dr Brad is awesome! Great demeanor with the kids and very trustworthy. He does not do unnecessary work. We also love the all the dental hygienists, and Kay is a favorite, she is always kind and informative. The front desk girls are awesome with any questions or concerns. Overall a great experience every time!"

"Absolutely ridiculous. I have had an appointment set BY THE OFFICE, for Dec 26 for this entire year. All of sudden, 4 days before my appointment, you change it to the 29th with no notice to me, and I’m just out of luck as I have to work and my child has to have a dentist appointment per her school BEFORE this year is up. Never again will I do a chain dentistry, hardly can get a freaking appointment within a reasonable time frame. And then you change my appointment date out of the clear blue sky, and then don’t even accommodate me, when your office is the one that screwed it up? WOW."

"Dentistry for Children in McDonough was terrific. My son enjoyed the play options in the lobby waiting area, which had two old school arcade video game machines and a play castle. There is a fish tank which has a calming feel to look at. The staff were friendly, the speed of service was efficient and the overall atmosphere was inviting and professional. My son enjoyed the teeth cleaning and evaluation of the condition of his teeth. He was able to take a prize, get a sticker for the no cavity club, a new tooth brush and toothpaste, and at-shirt with the name of the dentistry on it so next time he can get two prizes. I recommend going to Dentistry for Children. Great overall experience for my son and I."
