The initial 26-acre phase features 1,400 pre-placed in-ground double vaults, 766 conventional single-depth sites, 1,384 cremation interment sites including a columbarium, and 429 spaces dedicated to memorial markers for veterans whose remains are unavailable for burial. Since its dedication on November 28, 2007, the cemetery has become the final resting place for over 2,200 veterans, spouses, and family members, with plans to accommodate more than 21,000 in total.
