"We love it here, currently have one horse boarded. The care is excellent! Cody has been training (hunter/jumper)14y/o son for about 5yrs and she is knowledgeable and excellent. So happy to have her. Pleasant Oaks is quiet and very intimate and personal which we really enjoy!"

"I love this place. I had tried a couple of the other facilities in the area but found myself in group lessons that meant the 1 hour Sessions I paid for only really provided me 10 minutes of actual one on one instruction. This is not the case here. The trainer Cody provides me with one on one training and her style is very logical as she takes time to explain the not only how to guide the horse, but how my interactions are understood by the horse. Ibfeel I have learned more in a month than I learned at any of the other facilities combined. The horses here are also well looked after. The horses here also look happy and healthy. The owner Elizabeth does provide care for a few retired horses but doesn't base her care on profitability. She truly loves the animals under her care and it shows. Overall, this is a very relaxed and comfortable facility with a boutique feel where one can learn how to properly and safely ride."

"Rude, judgmental, and condescending. The barn and property itself is beautiful. Horses are beautiful, and well taken care of. The owner however, tends to be very hasty and rude. Very controlling especially if you don’t share the same religion & she “don’t trust people with tattoos”. This place almost ruined horsemanship for me entirely. The place is amazing aside from her personal attitude that comes with it. i had to move my horse after only a month there.. she talks about all her boarders to other boarders/ people & refuses to let you communicate with the vet when they’re out there for YOUR horse."

"This is a really fantastic place. Our daughter loves to ride, her trainer Maggie is great and the owner Mrs Elizabeth is nothing short of a Saint. She’s been rescuing horses for decades and her love for each one and their care is unconditional and clearly obvious."
