Best Western Fort Myers Inn & Suites

"I stayed here with my son for 1 night and it was a nightmare. I booked because of the great recent reviews that it was clean and it was disgusting! The smell in our first room was unbearable. We could not take it so we asked for a different room. The women had an attitude and just asked if we still wanted 2 beds I said yes and she put us across the hall that had the same wet dog molded smell. The bathroom was dirty and everything had a layer of dust on it. By time we were in there it was midnight I stayed in the chair with my head on my book bag and my 15 yr old son had to lay on top of the covers of the bed because it was like a rock and filthy. We could not take it anymore and left extra early in the morning. When I called back after going through Expedia for a refund and to speak with a manager they lied and say nothing was noted to be wrong and there’s no managers on the weekends you can’t talk to anyone, we checked and don’t smell anything. I stay in hotels for work all over the world and I have never left a bad review or have been unable to complete my stay but this place is the worst I’ve ever seen."

"Rooms were bright, clean, and very spacious. My only complaint about the room was the shower drain drained at a snails pace, showering was disgusting as the water would pool up at your feet. Also after giving the kids a bath it took like 30 minutes for the water to fully drain. Check-in went mostly smoothly although I didn't feel very welcomed by the employee, she felt a little cold but wasn't rude. The parking lot feels a little small, but we were able to secure parking. The pool area is beautiful, albeit the water was cold. The cold didn't bother the kids, I just wish more places down here had Jacuzzis (hot tubs)... Especially seeing as the weather has been colder than normal. The morning breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with ample supply. It was a nice big area for dishing up so it didn't feel congested, however I could see the actual seating area becoming congested rather fast. The hotel felt clean and new, although the price definitely felt high for what we got but that seems to be the case everywhere in Florida outside of Orlando. Overall my experience was a positive one. While in the area I recommend checking out the Manatee Park, which is about a 15 minute drive from here, and also the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve."

"Nice hotel we stayed for 11 nights very good price vs quality. The only bad was the coffee that was out of a machine and was not so great. But overall value for money and close to everywhere in Fort Myers. Be aware it is not in a quiet area though."

"If you’re here for work and decided to order takeout for delivery for there is Uber eats or pizza and you’re still trying to work don’t count on it. This is the only hotel I’ve ever been to that they will not allow the delivery people to come up to the rooms, I’ve been in hotels where you have to have a special card just to activate the elevator, and they still allowed them to come up and deliver the food. The parking is extremely cramped and the rooms are very small. The headboard for the beds have electric attachments and if you move the bed just right it knocks it out of power. I bring a personal fan and all night when I would turn over it would cut off and back on because of it."

"Very clean and presentable place inside and out. Friendly helpful staff. When I checked in. They saw I was a diamond member and told me I could go get two drinks from their beverage cooler. I asked the lady, does it have to be water. She's like no. I could have went over there and hugged her for that comment but I didn't. Cause most of the time they hand you purified water in a bottle, which I'm not a fan of. Got those and went to my room. Ample parking here. Location to anything not sure about cause I had tunnel vision getting there and out in the morning to get to my unload. I didn't look around a lot. Sorry about that. I would definitely stay here again though."
